I guess, with fact in hand, it was more terrifying than exciting
to start the last term in primary school that winter.
Suddenly it all grew from serious to, almost too serious.
Even though I knew what I wanted to do, that spring's touring
around schools, filling in surveys and gathering information
really was more than enough to set my brain into a spin.
So many choices, so little time.
At the same time it really got my adrenaline going.
Have to face it though, that last moment when I exited
the doors for the last time, even if I can't hide the fact
that I was feeling relieved, it was still with some sort of
feeling, that I was growing out of something. The "last blast"-
dinner was amazing though. No one really kept track of the time,
it was a great night, we were all simply in the middle of our teens,
celebrating and having loads of fun.
What more could you ask for?
The summer, as always, went too fast and too furious.
Had a great time but, as always, it ended too quickly.
Started secondary school that autumn, gymnasial working
education, aimed on transportation and vihicle maintenance
and repairing. Really didn't do with flying colours on that one.
I simply lacked muscle strength, or maybe it was just me
being afraid of breaking something on someone else's car.
Still learned a lot from there, and have had put it to
really good use on my own cars. But enough of that.
Onto the lyrics.
Cause, as a matter of fact, there was a few things
taking shape that year. Nothing that went all the way,
but still decent enough to be saved for future shenanigans.
Hardly did I know that those things would come handy as soon
as they did. Can only say that those four things I wrote back then
truly set the standard for the whole project, plus one track that
the whole project title was nicked from. That last one was never included, though.
And you know what? Suddenly we were at the end of the year.
