2003 - A few small steps and giving birth to another project

That year was simply a lazy rest in the sun, right? Wrong.
Had a pretty busy year. Not much lyrics-wise, but mostly
getting some sort of a fresh start with school and
trying my hands at something I never really thought of before.
What it was? Designing websites. Can't say I was skilled at it
(far from), but hey, that's why you go to school, right?

Had a bit of shyness-issues at first, which then turned into
a bit too much forwardness at times, before settling into a
pretty decent groove. Ended first year with not too flying colours,
but not too catastrophic either. That the summer drifted all the way
between flying away and being more slow-moving than half-dried tar
isn't either much to talk about, I guess. Everything from lazy days
in the sun, to late-night parties, to those days simply sitting inside
and dream while watching the raindrops battle down the window.
That summer had a bit of everything, just as usual.

I guess those days planted something in me that eventually
would lead up to a project later the same year.
I started to look through those demo lyrics I had done earlier
and as the year slowly drawed its way into December, it finally was time.
Even though I thought I'd do a christmas project without any of my own stuff,
I still felt that I wanted to put my own little touch to it.
So, in the very last moment two demos were digged out of the vaults,
and, after a little refurbishing, ended up included,
bringing the total tally of tracks to nine.

The 9th one wasn't really planned either, but was done in an "a cappella"-
sort of way. Just me and a tambourine. The whole thing was named "A Christmas Tribute".
Those remaining two demos from the earlier session was actually put to good use later on,
so no harm at all there either. As I said, not too much work done in my own workshop
that year, but it still felt good to be back on track after nearly
five years of near-to-nothingness.
