1993 - Second year and first Swedish project

Yup, second year of writing also went pretty okey.
Started school the year before, so spent most of the time
making new friends, learning new stuff and doing homework.
Still the singing went with me, something that never really
decided to let go, not to this day either, I should say.
Did some basic writing in Swedish throughout the year, though.

The result of said writing turned into a project with the
oh-so-simple title "Låtar på svenska" (Songs in Swedish).
That of course also meant a small dose of those easy-going
lyrics, another thing that have, in one way or another, kept up with me.
The foundation was made of a few Swedish renditions of English tracks,
plus one or two swedish covers from my mom's neverending collection
and 4-5 tracks of my own to top it all off and make the whole thing complete.

I can recall coming up with tunes in my head while being out shoveling
(well, throwing around) snow in the winter, going on small boat trips
in the summer, well, you name it. All in all, I was much more outdoors
back then, having no computer or gaming console might have helped.

Oh well, since I still had that cover-ish side taking over as the best part of me,
I spent a lot of time on that, leaving my own writing a little bit behind.
What was, and still is, a bit funny though, is that even if I didn't really
got any instruments of my own, except a tiny toy-balalaika, which I played so hard
the strings broke, and a plastic fake guitar I might still have laying around somewhere,
I was still making up full-scale arrangements in my head.

All in all, I was pretty much rockish way back then,
even if also having a softer side might have helped.
Kinda like things are now, in some strange way.
To be honest, I sometimes miss writing in those ways.
Even if those lyrics may sound dated and childish
(Hey! I WAS a child back then!),
they still had that drive, that nerve,
that "I really wanna do this"-feeling
that comes around too rarely nowadays.
I guess that's the reason why the period
between 1991 and 1996 was later nicknamed "The Early Years".
