1997 - A "Low key" year?

Yeah, I didn't really do any serious kind of writing this year,
even though the cover thing a year before triggered something in me.
I did plan some sort of a collection thing,
with tracks from the first three projects
and maybe 4 or 5 songs from me to wrap it up.
Didn't really happen.

The closest I got to it was writing 4 tracks.
All of them with a mid-90's Roxette-sort of touch.
Might have been cause said band had released a greatest hits-
thing called "Don't Bore Us-Get To The Chorus" in 1995,
and I guess I sort of nicked the concept from there.
To complete a collection with a few newly written tunes.

Anyway, something that did happen though,
was that I had one summer off completely
and started 6th grade in school that autumn.
Which of course was a big happening since we only
had 6 grades in that school building.
Still might've felt a bit moody in a way,
cause it would be the last year before getting our classes
mixed up. Great or moody, a splendid time it was.
To be true, even if it might have been pretty ordinary,
it still felt special to me.

Another big happening was that
I turned into a teenager that November.
Still celebrating it wasn't much of a heyday.
Had the whole bunch of relatives over for coffee,
cookies and things like that.

Another thing that somehow passed me by,
was the 5th anniversary for my first project.
And I also got my very first, brand new computer that christmas.

But I can't help wondering what happened to that collection...
