A few words from the writer's nest

Yep, I guess it's been a while since last time I wrote something.
So, a classic question to start with: what has happened since last time?

Answer is, actually, not too much, but still almost too much.
I simply don't know how to describe it. This year has gotten
a flying start. And me who was planning a pretty soft year.
Yeah right, that went out the window.

First thing that happened was that "Asuncion",
the first project, and the one that was due to
have a deadline at the end of January, got extended
and extended (and extended again!), so I simply chose
to give it another week on top of that.
Surely must have been destined that way.
It turned out simply mind-blowing.

Right now I'm pretty much low-key.
Trying to get all those things from 2010/early 2011
written and stored in the computer, which actually
led up to me discovering those wicked powerpop gems
from the autumn of 2010 that I had pretty much forgotten.
Combine that with currently writing a sort of biography,
with the former stuff taking a more dominating role,
and you've gotten my view of February as well.

I won't promise anything yet, but to be honest,
rediscovering those things sort of made me miss
the way I was writing back then.
We'll see what happens with that.
As I said, there's mostly "backstage"-work
going on right now.

Besides, last time I updated the tracklists and such
was way back in late 2008/early 2009, so that's in for an upgrade.
And, yeah, I've said this loads of times before,
but I'm really gonna try to get better at blogging.
Spending most of the time on twitter and facebook,
if not buried head-first in schoolbooks, really grabs you.
I guess it's not only me, but sometimes a day could have
a little more than 24 hours. Still don't mind spending
half the nights awake though. Always have been a pleasure
working at night, simply because everything is silent and calm.
And it feeds your mind in all kinds of ways.

As you know, I published the calendar/schedule,
call it what you want, for 2012 a little earlier.
But the fact is, I've almost filled up 2013 as well now.
No plans of slowing down in other words.
Maybe there'll be a break from writing next year, though,
focusing more on the more practical stuff that won't happen
this year (either). 

So, I guess that's that for now then.
Having some more stuff planned for this blog,
but god knows what will really become reality.
Trust me, even I don't know.
Anyway, keep it up everyone and I'll get back to you
as soon as I've got something new to write.
